What is your most memorable childhood experience?

When I was in kindergarten my teacher told me that she liked the way I drew trees (with the bottoms tapering out to show the roots) and that weekend I stayed in my room drawing trees for her.

What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?

I most closely identify with my brother. He and I share common interests and enjoy traveling together. It's easy to make him laugh, and we always make things interesting when we're together.

What character traits do you admire in an individual?

I admire people with a witty sense of humor. I admire creative and articulate people, and I admire people who like to experience new things.

What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?

One time I was driving from Colorado to New Orleans and I took a wrong turn in Kansas driving 6 hours in the wrong direction, and when I figured it out I woke up the other driver and told him it was his turn to drive and my turn to sleep.

If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?

If time and money were not an issue I would take an entire summer and drive to Alaska. I would take Route 66 from St. Louis to LA and then drive the coastline all the way up, then on the way back I would drive through Canada to the Dakotas to see Mt. Rushmore.

When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?

When I have children I would want to pass to them my creativity and my curiosity. I would want them to be free thinkers with the ability to voice their theories and opinions.
