What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience is family vacations to Ireland. I enjoyed seeing where my parents grew up, working on the farms and seeing my grandparents. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | The family member I most closely identify with is my father because he has motivated me througout my life. He came here as a poor Irish immigrant, worked hard, started his own company and became very successful. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Honesty, loyalty, and empathy are character traits I admire in an individual. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I broke both of my wrists as a child from playing on the swing set. It doesn't sound very funny, but I looked very funny with two casts on in the 4th grade. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would love to go back to Ireland to show my two boys where their family comes from. I would love to tour Central and South America to learn the language. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I tell my boys at night that the gift I hope they get in life is empathy. I believe it is one of the most important traits a person can have. I also tell them that a man is only as good as his word. |
