| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My family ran a large fleet of the stands and attractions you would see at a local fair, from rides to food stands. I spent my childhood traveling from city to city, show to show, learning the business and being involved in every aspect. I am able to repair and assemble machinery, and also learned how to handle customers and large queues for food. When the show was over, we would disassemble everything, and move on to the next show. I was able to see a lot, and gave me an early perspective on hard work, and point-of-sale businesses. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my sister. We both grew up traveling and working different fairs and festivals. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I truly admire people who display ambition. Their determination towards a goal always inspires me to reflect and make sure I am giving whatever I am working on my all. I also like to see curiosity in people. People who are not afraid to ask questions and are willing to find the answers to what they are searching for. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One of the first startups I worked at always had extra food in the fridge for whoever was on call. Late one night I ate some pizza from a box with no name on it, didn’t think anything about it. I come in the next day and see crime tape everywhere. There was an entire crime scene for the missing pizza. Someone had forgotten to put their name on the box, and they spent hours building out a crime scene, which I had to walk into and ultimately confess. At least I gave them something to do that day. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to travel to unique beaches that are secluded. Being able to walk the beach, see the scenery and nature, even the different color sands. All beaches and islands are unique and have their own interesting traits. My favorite beach I have been to so far is the Canary Islands. You will actively see goats roaming, and the main export there is bananas. There is no short supply of fruit. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope to pass on knowledge and wealth. |
