Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?I would say playing baseball with my dad was very memorable. His job kept him busy, but he always made time for it. Even more so now that I'm out on my own, I'm glad we got to spend that time together.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my stepbrother. While we may not have gotten along the best when we met, we've since spent most of our lives together and are basically best friends.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire composure. When a person is composed then they are better able to act in the way that they believe is right. It also helps those around you feel comfortable and confident.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? When my stepbrother first moved in, I locked him out of my room while some friends and I played games. He didn't like that, so he beat in my door with a wooden sword from a renaissance fair. I decided to include him from then on.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? With enough money and time, I could hire a team to build a spaceship. Assuming I live forever (since time isn't an issue), I would travel to Mars and any other semi-hospitable planet. Hopefully my spaceship will be pretty fast.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would primarily want to teach them what I've learned: how to cook and stay healthy, how to make friends, and be at peace. I still have a lot to learn myself, so we'll see what else can get added to this list later.
