Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?Every summer, my family would go to the lakes and swim for hours. It was such a special time filled with BBQ, laughter, and adventure. I will always cherish those memories with my mom, dad, and brothers.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my youngest brother. We both have the same temperament and positive attitude. I am the oldest of four siblings and he is the youngest, so we get along since we were quite a bit apart in age and are not competitive with each other.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Humility, patience, passion, and empathy are the traits I most admire. I feel that our society needs a bit more peace and calm, especially after the pandemic and all the political turmoil that has existed over the last few years.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?One time my car got stuck in a ditch and I had to get it towed out. It was the middle of winter, and I went way too far into the ditch and barely got out! It was a good lesson learned.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would visit Switzerland and Norway. They are both beautiful countries with lots of great hiking and skiing. I would also love to do a multi-ski cross-country trek in Norway. I also love chocolate and Switzerland makes great chocolate!
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would want them to treat others well, to live life with purpose and love, to be empathetic, and always try their best. And they should learn to ride a bike. It's the best way to get around and explore the world!
