What is your most memorable childhood experience?I have great memories of spending summers at my grandparents' cabin. I always loved the time up in the woods playing outside with my family. I also really enjoyed boating and jet-skiing on the lake.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my father. We have a great father-son relationship and I'm very blessed for it. He's been there for me my entire life. He's helped me with coaching sports, schoolwork, and now business and personal life.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire someone who is kind and respectful to others. I also admire someone's passion and ambition.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?Once I was taking the trash down our very steep driveway in my crocs. I proceeded to slip on the ice and fall and then slide 40 feet down our driveway while holding our garbage bin. This happened right in front of a group of children at their bus stop who proceeded to laugh hysterically.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to Cabo San Lucas. I've been there a handful of times throughout my life. I love the people, the food, and of course the nice weather. My wife and I have gone a couple times in the last few years and it's our favorite travel destination.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I want to make sure my kids grow up to be kind and respectful to everyone. I want them to have a sense of humor and have a positive outlook on life. Sports really shaped me into who I am today, and I hope my kids are able to find a sport they're passionate about and enjoy.
