What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I moved to Europe with my family when I was 5. I would say it was memorable because it impacted a lot on how I view the world today. I grew up going to an international school with over 30 nationalities in my age group. I think this instilled a level of open-mindedness that I never would have gotten if I’d grown up in America the whole time. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my mom. She is most like me from a personality standpoint. We are both driven, and like things done our way. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire people that are courageous, inquisitive, kind, calm, and who are successful but do not alter their morals to get there. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One time I got stranded in the ocean on a paddleboard. We had been paddling around in the shallows, but wanted to see if we could find bigger fish offshore. We eventually got caught in the rip tide and couldn’t get out of it until we were about a mile offshore. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If I didn’t have to worry about money or time I would travel to Fiji in the summers and Telluride, Colorado in the winters. I love to surf and snowboard. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope that they have the ability to talk to people and have meaningful conversations rather than being caught up in phones and games. |
