What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience would be having the opportunity to move to the U.S. at the age of five. I was a little scared of leaving everything I knew, but the excitement of something completely different was unbelievable. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My sister. We have always been very close and we talk often. We advise each other with personal problems and business matters. I trust her with everything. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Honesty. It is always easier to tell the truth about something rather than lie. Being up-front and truthful, even if it may offend or hurt someone, is better than keeping it in and letting it eat you from the inside. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I was at the lake water skiing. I fell down and the dragging in the water pulled my shorts off. I could not find them afterwards and had to walk around in the nude for a long time. When I finally got back to my car I was able to put some pants on. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would go back to Sri Lanka. That is where I am from. With an unlimited amount of money, I would give it to all my family members who still live there. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | To be honest and kind-hearted like I am. |
