What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Going to the beach with my family. On one particular trip my best friend came along. It's memorable b/c on the drive to the beach he crammed so much candy into his mouth he couldn't speak, then he got stung by a ginormous jellyfish while we swam. Anything bad that could happen to a person happened to my friend on that beach trip. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My father, we're pretty similar. We both have large personas and like attention. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire candidness and expressiveness. Honesty. Humility |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was fifteen, my cousin got married on the beach in Florida. They got me drunk on champagne and told me that everyone was going to streak through the pavilion. When I got changed they said they were right behind me. They convinced me that everyone was doing it, so I agreed. They said ready, go, and I streaked all the way through the reception and down to the beach by myself. This year at my sister's wedding it was the running joke that I was going to streak the reception. Even my parents mentioned it. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | Bocas Del Torro, Panama, to surf. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Tell them they aren't special. Many communication problems stem from feelings of self-entitlement. I would tell my kids that they aren't any different from anyone else, only formed from different environments, experiences, and situations. |
