What is your most memorable childhood experience?Going to the beach with my family. On one particular trip my best friend came along. It's memorable b/c on the drive to the beach he crammed so much candy into his mouth he couldn't speak, then he got stung by a ginormous jellyfish while we swam. Anything bad that could happen to a person happened to my friend on that beach trip.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My father, we're pretty similar. We both have large personas and like attention.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire candidness and expressiveness. Honesty. Humility
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?When I was fifteen, my cousin got married on the beach in Florida. They got me drunk on champagne and told me that everyone was going to streak through the pavilion. When I got changed they said they were right behind me. They convinced me that everyone was doing it, so I agreed. They said ready, go, and I streaked all the way through the reception and down to the beach by myself. This year at my sister's wedding it was the running joke that I was going to streak the reception. Even my parents mentioned it.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?Bocas Del Torro, Panama, to surf.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?Tell them they aren't special. Many communication problems stem from feelings of self-entitlement. I would tell my kids that they aren't any different from anyone else, only formed from different environments, experiences, and situations.
