What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I was ten, I went to my first professional baseball game. I remember catching a foul ball for the first time, and after the game was over I went down to the field to have it signed. The ball is locked away in a case with a few more I've collected over the years. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I would have to say my father. We don't have a lot in common in terms of sports and entertainment, but we have very similar personalities, which I think is what keeps us so connected. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | The first thing I notice in the first few minutes of talking to someone is if they're genuine or not. No matter their personality or likes/dislikes, I tend to respect someone if he/she is authentic. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I'm not sure if this qualifies as funniest thing to happen TO me, but during my senior year of high school, my friends and I "created" a boy band for the talent show. It was meant as a joke, but people ended up really liking our moves. Our "Bye, Bye, Bye" cover was a hit. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I love to sail, so I would say sailing in the Mediterranean. I've never been, and there are many places to see in the Mediterranean. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Athleticism and leadership qualities. I'm a believer in team sports, and I think these two go hand in hand. If not athleticism, I would like to pass on the drive to be part of something greater for the good of everyone. |
