What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience was my thirteenth birthday. Me and my family headed to Disney World, spending about a week there. It was my first time getting to go to a theme park. There was not one ride in sight that I didn't try. The food was superb and the exhibits really captivated me as a child.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I most identify with my uncle. In my family, he is closest to me in age. Growing up, we shared many hobbies and interests, and connected on many levels.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Consistency. When people say they will do something and don't follow through is a major turn-off. When someone says something and puts forth effort to follow through, it is a very desirable quality. Accountability. When someone holds themselves responsible for their actions it ensures trust and worth.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?In high school, while walking to lunch, I ended up tripping down the steps. When I got back up I turned and saw all eyes on me, thinking quickly on my feet I said out loud "That was on purpose" and everyone started laughing. I felt very quippy that moment!
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I'd travel to Japan. Their culture and customs appeal to me. I've wanted to go snowboarding on their mountains, watch Sumo wrestling, attempt to try blowfish (has to be specifically prepared) as well as enjoy the countryside and cultural apparel.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?My red beard. Many compliments have been received for having an auburn-colored beard. Inquisitiveness, asking questions to better understand the world around them; not taking it at face value but researching and accumulating wisdom.
