Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?Growing up in a bigger family, we didn't have as many experiences outside of the home. That didn't stop us from doing things, but just not as much. One of my fondest memories as a child was when my sister and I attempted to make breakfast for the family. We were only about four years old.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My sister. We tend to think a lot alike when it comes to life. She may be younger and have hit some hard times, but we seem to always be on the same wavelength.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Somebody who goes for what they want. Anybody who doesn't really just sit back and wait for things to come to them. Somebody that takes the initiative and achieves their goals.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?Not too many things come to mind. One Christmas we went to a party and we all wore ugly sweaters and it was just a fun time. I put a temporary red dye in my beard that I had at the time.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? That's not the easiest of questions to answer, honestly. I have dreams of traveling all over the world. If I really had to choose though, I would say Australia. It just seems like a really awesome place to explore.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass on to them to just not take everything so seriously. That is not to say that they should just sit back and relax, but life shouldn't be so stressful. Don't waste your entire life working to try to have a life and eventually find out that you never had one.
