What is your most memorable childhood experience?

Although it's a somewhat vague memory due to my age at the time of it's occurrence, my most memorable childhood experience is the time I wandered away from home and a search party was needed to locate me. I was raised in a very rural area and, at a young age, I escaped from our back yard while my mother stepped inside for a brief moment. I quickly made my may into the forest surrounding our home and began to explore. I soon found myself lost and my attempts to backtrack were unsuccessful. Luckily, I was found by a volunteer search party about 8 hours later.



What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?

I most closely identify with my uncle on my dad's side. He and I share similar approaches to life, and world views. I've always found it easy to discuss personal issues and important matters with him.



What character traits do you admire in an individual?

I admire perseverance, wisdom, shrewdness, and humility in a person.



What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?

Although I can't really recall an incident in my past that stands out as the funniest ever, I can certainly remember the funniest in recent memory. While browsing the website, craigslist (for lack of a more immediately interesting activity), I happened across a very suggestive personal's ad that had been posted by my immediate supervisor at work. She had included a photo of herself in considerably revealing attire. Needless to say, it has been difficult to take her quite as seriously in a position of authority ever since.



If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?

If time and money were truly not an issue then I would want to travel everywhere. I would go continent to continent, country to country and experience all that the world has to offer. Why? Because I could and because I have a deep drive to learn and experience.



When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?

I would pass on the ideal to be true to themselves and to focus honestly on discovering who they are as individuals. I would teach them to strive to learn and experience as much as possible and to relate as honestly and openly with the world around them. I would also instill in them an understanding of the importance of human decency, courtesy, charity, respect and self accountability. Lastly, I would remind them of the importance of loyalty to those they love and who love them in return.
