What is your most memorable childhood experience?I remember exploring the park near my house with my brother, splashing in the stream and looking for Native American arrowheads. Also, going to Disney World.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My brother and I have always been extremely close, because we are close in age and have similar interests. My parents divorced when I was five. As a child I split time between them, but my brother was a constant in my life.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honesty, humor, decency. You can learn a lot about someone's true character by watching how they treat people they don't have to be nice to.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?It's tough to pick one thing out, but at age 20 I lost a big wheel race to a girl, in front of 8,000 people. It wasn't even close.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?The list of places I wouldn't go would be smaller than where I would go. I would probably start with a tour of the Mediterranean. Rome, Athens, Constantinople, Jerusalem, Cairo, etc.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?More than anything I'd like to pass on the belief that life is a joyful experience to be savored and not taken too seriously.
