Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?Trips to my grandma's house were the most memorable moments of my childhood. It was the family gathering place, so I got to spend time with my cousins when we went there. I have a pretty large family, and it was nice to see them any chance I got. We would have campfires, watch TV, play video games, go to the park, and there was always good food and baked goods.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I closely identify with my mother. We can talk about anything and everything. I don't know what I would do without her. She is always supportive; she is very open-minded and kind, and has a fun spirit. She would do anything for me, and I for her.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire many traits. Honesty, a good sense of humor, generosity, caring, environmentally conscience, open-mindedness, and spontaneity would be some of the characteristics that I am particularly drawn to.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I suppose maybe a time in senior year of high school when me and another classmate were chosen to dress up in inflatable sumo outfits and wrestle in front of the whole school at the Homecoming Pep Rally...I lost, by the way. My opponent was on the actual wresting team, but it didn't help that I fell flat on my face.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?The place I want to go that has been at the top of my list for a long time is New Zealand. To me, it seems like one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Diverse terrain and an abundance of coastline. They have a mild climate, and English is the main language spoken there.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I don't plan on children of my own, but what will be, will be. What I would want to pass on to them would be my caring nature, my love for the environment, my creative mind, my critical thinking, and my open-mindedness.
