What is your most memorable childhood experience?

A lot of love and happiness, very warm and cheerful memories. I remember spending a lot of time with my family traveling on weekends and visiting family friends in other cities. I remember exciting times with my friends doing men stuff-fishing, camping, competitions in sports. I remember how my mom pushed me to do homework and keep discipline.

What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?

My older sister. Perhaps because with her I had the most trouble, but also a lot of fun. I closely identify myself with my parents, mostly with my dad. He is great!!! Many people say I am very, very similar to my dad in the way I act and speak. I believe I have my mom's character.

What character traits do you admire in an individual?

Sincerity, hearty, trustworthy, self-confident, not high-minded.

What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?

It happened many years ago. My mom sent me and my sister to a garden to pick currants. My friend and I were on one side of the berry bush and my sister with her friend in another. Nice company! We started throwing berries to the girls and they responded with a couple of berries. Soon it turned into a berry fight. In about a half hour, there were no berries in the bush and none in the basket. All the beautiful red berries covered the ground and my mom was very "satisfied" with us.

If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?

I would start with South America. I think people are very friendly there. Then Asia because their culture is very different from where we come from. Next perhaps Australia to see the kingdom of animals and native Australian aboriginies. Africa probably would be a lot to see.

When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?

That benevolent look at life and on other people. Make them realize that material things, jobs, and so on will not fulfill his life with happiness, but rather with love, friendship, and passion.
