What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience occurred when I was in the 9th grade. First day of high school, I tried out for the basketball team and I didn’t make the team because the coaches told me that I wasn’t good enough to play on their team. I was pretty disappointed but I never lost hope because I believed that I was good enough to be on the team. A few weeks after, the head coach called me in into his office and said that he would grant me another opportunity to try out. I went to the park to go practice and prepare prior to the final try out opportunity that was given to me by the head coach. While at the park, it started pouring rain and I remembered being in the rain alone practicing hard and pushing myself beyond my abilities. The next day I tried out and made the team.
