Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? Most memorable to me are the times I spent with my grandfather. One Christmas when I was maybe six or seven he bought me an action figure castle. We made a game up with these action figures and would compete against each other. I made up all of the rules as we went along to work to my favor. Even if he didn't want to let me win, I would have won anyway. Probably explains why I am so competitive today. Every subsequent visit in the following few years I would beg him to play it again with me.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I get my looks and personality from my father, but I have always been closest to my mother. There is no shame in being a bit of a "Mama's boy."
What character traits do you admire in an individual? On top of all things, a sense of humor. Nothing else puts me more at ease within a social experience.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I was going to a friend's (more of an acquaintance) graduation party in high school. I spent about thirty minutes eating food at the party before someone walked up and asked me why I was there. I was at the wrong party.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?The Tianjin Province in China to do the Great Wall Marathon.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?My tenacity and drive for knowledge and athletics.
