Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? When I was ten, I went to my first professional baseball game. I remember catching a foul ball for the first time, and after the game was over I went down to the field to have it signed. The ball is locked away in a case with a few more I've collected over the years.

What character traits do you admire in an individual? The first thing I notice in the first few minutes of talking to someone is if they're genuine or not. No matter their personality or likes/dislikes, I tend to respect someone if he/she is authentic.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I'm not sure if this qualifies as funniest thing to happen TO me, but during my senior year of high school, my friends and I "created" a boy band for the talent show. It was meant as a joke, but people ended up really liking our moves. Our "Bye, Bye, Bye" cover was a hit.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I love to sail, so I would say sailing in the Mediterranean. I've never been, and there are many places to see in the Mediterranean.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?Athleticism and leadership qualities. I'm a believer in team sports, and I think these two go hand in hand. If not athleticism, I would like to pass on the drive to be part of something greater for the good of everyone.
