What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I really enjoyed the time when I joined the school table tennis team after I had won third place in a table tennis contest in primary school. I had a good time being trained twice a week and playing table tennis with players from other schools. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My mother. She had a very good personality. She was an outstanding accountant. She was very responsible for her family. She took a lot of care of me. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Honesty. Perseverance and cleverness. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was 14, one night I climbed on a tree to catch as many sparrows as I could to beat other boys. When I put the tenth sparrow into my bag, accidentally, the branch I was standing on broke. I fell off the tree, sat on the bag, and killed 4 sparrows. 3 of the rest ran away. I was not hurt at all, but lost the contest. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would take a trip to China City, Japan, where I worked for one year, to visit my friend, and the university I used to work for. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | My intelligence. |
