What is your most memorable childhood experience? | It is difficult to choose the most memorable experience because I have several very memorable moments. Let me share some of them. When I was small, my mom invited Santa to our place. It was an impressing experience for me that I believed in it for many years after that. I still remember Santa's red and white clothes and the bike he gave me. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My father, he is my role model. I inherited from him his ability to turn almost any situation into something positive. I share with him a similar sense of humor and other social skills; and, like my father, I also chose a creative profession. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Honesty, kindness, intelligence, compassion, loyalty, the ability to laugh at oneself, being curious, a good sense of humor. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | At the car dealership, me and my friend took a car for test drive. I ran out of gas on the road half a mile away from the dealership. I had to pull over and to stop the car in the "no standing any time" tow away zone. You would say it is not funny, right? However, I called to the dealership to explain the situation. The salesperson asked me if I was planning on buying the car. Because I said "no," the dealership told me that I was responsible to bring the car back. We pushed it back to the dealership and got a very good workout that day. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I grew up around forests, lakes, and fields, so I am really attracted to any kind of rock formations. I would travel to mountains in different parts of the world. But if money and time are not an issue, all exotic destinations would become ordinary. I would think about traveling to different planets (maybe in a different star system) or I would definitely buy a "ticket" to the International Space Station. I think that being in space would be an incredible experience. I hope that one day, let's say in 20-25 years, I could visit some mountains on Jupiter's moon. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on all of the positive characteristics I received from my parents. To do the right thing and always tell the truth. I would like them to have my quality of being hard working and to have an exceptional professional attitude. I want them to be happy and optimistic no matter what obstacles they face. Genes I pass on to children is only half of the life success for "there is no gene for the human spirit." |
