What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Playing the violin. When I was younger, I had a lot of trouble connecting with most of my peers. I was a nerdy kid who saw every social interaction as a challenge. However, as soon as I learned to play the violin and started sharing my talent with others, I finally felt I could express myself in a way other than words. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My mom. She shares the most interests with me out of anyone else in the family. We both love basketball, tennis, watching the Food Channel, and we are equally skilled at both ping pong and Nintendo games. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | 1. Selflessness - I'm always amazed when my friends will drop everything they're doing just to help me in a time of need. 2. Kindness - because come on, why would someone like someone who isn't kind? 3. Courage - because I didn't develop this trait myself until late in the game. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | In my first relationship with a girl, I thought it was a good idea to make out in a car parked under a lamp post in a new neighborhood that was still under construction. When a police officer finished questioning why I was there, I thought it was a good idea to add that I was a "straight 'A' student." It wasn't funny at the time, but looking back, I think it's hilarious that I thought being a straight A student made me immune to the law. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | The list is endless, but right now I'm hooked on Canada. I love the outdoors, snowboarding, and being one with nature, and any time I've been in there, I've had an opportunity to experience all of the above. Also, people are really as nice there as they are portrayed in TV shows and movies. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Trait-wise, my kids would really benefit from my dad's never-graying hair. That guy is 62 and I still have never seen a gray hair ever grow on his head, and I assure you that he never dyes it. Personality-wise, my stunning good looks and charm; no, but seriously, my optimism and positive attitude. |
