| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Oddly enough, my most memorable childhood experience consists of all of the time I spent making paper figurines and origami-like models and creating imaginative worlds for them to play in. In hindsight, I realize that these seemingly trivial experiences helped me develop a strong sense of independence and willingness to think outside of the box over the years. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My mother and I have a lot of the same DIY qualities when it comes to creativity and prioritizing our time. Although I'm less reserved in expression, we both can spend countless hours focusing on creative projects when we put our minds to the task. Outside of creativity, I've always found communication with my mother to be the easiest due to her ability to relate to me through feelings/potentiality versus logic and reason, which is necessary at times. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Individuality itself is a characteristic that I admire in others. Does this person form an opinion outside of a textbook and based on personal experience? Are you willing to grow into a career life path that you actually enjoy regardless of the monetary/external value that profession brings in? Is this individual seeking growth in their personal life that has nothing to do with external validation? I feel that these characteristics build relationships that are intended for growth and compassion which is absolutely necessary for cultivating better environments and community infrastructures. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I wake up every morning with memories and a body, lying in a strange room filled with various objects and absolutely no instruction manual for how I'm supposed to proceed with this information. I find this endlessly amusing and surprising. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I'd travel everywhere physically possible. I want to experience all cultures and areas of this world, and carry any wisdom I gain into the next destination along my travel adventures. The destination itself is arbitrary and temporary...it's the people and deeper understandings I gain from them, of how I can choose to live out this human experience that will be the real prize along this journey. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | You're going to die...if not sooner, then later. Explore what you love to your heart's content, be kind to yourself and others, think outside the box, and share your unique experiences with others along the way and learn from them as well. |
