What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Traveling to parts of the world that the average person may never experience in their lifetime. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My mother. Throughout my childhood and into adulthood, she exemplified the characteristics of a well-rounded person. Goal oriented, driven, self-starting and self-assured and a natural leader. As a mother, she knew it was part of her obligation to imprint these characteristics onto me and, as a result, she is the primary force behind who I am today. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Intelligence, wit, competitiveness, driven and strong sense of self, among others. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Years back, my wife (then girlfriend) and I were walking around New York City. I made a conscious decision to make sure she was walking on the inside of the sidewalk (away from the street/traffic) and in an ironic twist, after we changed positions, a pigeon had a bowel movement that landed on my shoulder. In essence, I unknowingly saved her from being pooped on and sacrificed myself. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | Everywhere. The world is a fascinating place that deserves our attention as humans. I believe it's important to step out of our comfort zone and really experience what the world has to offer. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | The traditions and culture that separate/create uniqueness among our family in comparison to others. A strong sense of self and family and the motivation and drive to achieve whatever your mind is set to. |
