What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Exploring the woods behind my house with my best buds, using our imagination to create adventures, and building our many failed tree forts. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My sister. We grew up thick as thieves and created tons of great memories together. She still lives a few minutes away and we still manage to get into a little trouble. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Integrity and selflessness. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | During the first days of Army basic training you are allowed one phone call to tell your parents you are alive and safe. During that time, the drill sergeants play psychological games and say that your parents have left and you are on your own. When I made my one phone call, I got the message "this number has been disconnected." After a few days of trying, I decided to call my best friend instead. She told me that she just saw my mom and everyone was wondering how I was doing. We then figured out I had been dialing the wrong phone number for days. Till this day, I remember both phone numbers. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would sail the coasts of every continent, except Antarctica, and complete a humanitarian mission at each place. Traveling to new places, meeting new people, helping others would be the most rewarding adventure. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | The wisdom to enjoy life and every interaction. |
