What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I was little, my family went to SeaWorld. I was having a great time, looking at all the colorful fish and how fast the dolphins and seals could swim. We even saw Shamu, and she sent this huge splash our way. Instinctively, my mom turned around to shield her face. Unfortunately, She was carrying me on her back. So I took a full blast of salt water straight into my poor baby eyes.
I was done with that day. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My mom. My brother and I moved with her when my parents got divorced, so I took a lot of her mannerisms and idiosyncrasies. She’s a scientist, so she also raised us to make our own decisions. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | A sense of humor, the ability to find wonder in the world your entire life, and the determination to always come back to your dreams. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was five, I tried to convince my dad that the NBA was a war in the 1800s. I have no clue where I got that idea. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | Mars. Even if it's just a big rusty desert, being on another planet would be incredible in its own right. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | The means and desire to pursue the education to do whatever they want. |
