What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I remember the exact moment, in 6th grade, when I overcame my language barrier and fully integrated into my social environment. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most closely identify with my mother. I've witnessed and heard about the tribulations that she endured in the past. It has made me into a more positive and a better person. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | An individual who has positive aspirations with positive ambitions. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | As an adolescent, without thinking, I would often speak Mandarin Chinese to my English-speaking peers. I would quickly apologize and everyone would think I was trying to converse with them in an alien language. Looking back, it was a great way to distract from my lack of language proficiency without hurting anyone's feelings. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would love to travel to Germany. The weather is perfect and the people are very caring and very kind. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Kindness, compassion, and the ability to think of others. Do not blindly pass judgement on anyone. |
