What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Riding horses and roaming the countryside with my best friend. We would cross rivers, pick apples, build forts and explore everything around us. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I would say my sister. I like her sense of humor and strong personality. She's well-read and open to talking about basically anything, so that keeps our conversations interesting. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Among many traits, I admire authenticity and creativity as well as loyalty, compassion and integrity. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | During a recent holiday season, I was out exploring our new neighborhood and came across a "Fine Candies" shop. However, I misread the sign and thought it said "candles" instead of "candies." I was in the store and quite enamored with the wide array of candies. After perusing the entire store for about five minutes I started wondering where they kept all the candles, followed by the realization that I had misread the sign. I thanked the store owners and left (somewhat sheepishly). It was a bit embarrassing but I thought it was pretty funny. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would visit my friend in Oslo, Norway. He has visited me a few times and I've so far been unable to reciprocate. Either that or I would go to a long (maybe two-week) meditation retreat in a warm climate, such as California or Arizona. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on my love and compassion to them as well as patience and understanding. I would model positive behaviors the best I can and offer guidance when possible. |
