What is your most memorable childhood experience? | It's hard to come up with one most memorable childhood experience, though I would contend that the many trips I took to Disneyland (my grandmother had a press pass) collectively make up a very memorable experience for me. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most closely with one of my mom's sisters, because I believe she best exemplifies the ability to follow through on what she aims to achieve. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | The character trait I most admire in an individual is dedication. In my view, it's incredibly easy for people to get complacent and stop trying. I see those who are dedicated and remain so to be a class above others. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing to happen to me was the fact that I would go to sleep at 8 pm when I was a lot younger and the family dog slept in my room and would go with me. Eventually my bedtime moved up to 9 pm and even up to 10 pm, but the dog without fail would always go to my room at 8 pm. There was a bit of humor in that he had his own bed time. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would make a pilgrimage to Rome and go to Japan for the food. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would want my children to understand that everyone is mortal and we all start from somewhere. I would not want them to become awed by the accomplishments of another and feel a sense of despair or an inability to achieve similar accomplishments. |
