What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My grandpa used to pull my sister, my cousins, and myself around his yard in a wagon behind his tractor. One time, while pulling us up a hill, something came loose and the wagon flipped up, sending us children tumbling down the hill. By the time we had stopped rolling down the hill we were all laughing hysterically. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I admire my mother's caring and compassionate nature, as she works with elderly folks every day and loves every second of it. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Empathy is the trait I admire most in an individual. The ability to put yourself in another's shoes and attempt to understand their experience goes a long way in understanding and helping each other. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One time a couple of friends and I were canoeing on a river with a few heavy rapids. My friend and I decided to go right for the rapids without slowing down. We made it to the middle, turned sideways, and flipped sideways, plunging us into the water. We came up laughing and had to paddle the rest of the way soaking wet. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to all the places where my close friends whom I have not seen in a while live. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would instill in them the curiosity that drives me every day to learn and grow. |
