What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I was younger I was mountain biking in Utah. On my way down the mountain I learned my bike wasn't up to the challenge. The brakes weren't able to stop me, perhaps only marginally slow me down. I made it through a steep trail terrified and exhilarated. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My brother. We both strive to contribute to society as well as pursue adventure and experience the world. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Integrity, critical thinking, and a passion for their beliefs. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was younger I had the brilliant idea to "surf" down the neighborhood hill on a wagon. Needless to say, it ended poorly. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | Antarctica. I would love to summit Mt. Vinson and experience one of the last wild and extreme frontiers on the planet. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Reason and curiosity. I want my future children to be informed, crave knowledge, and challenge ideas that are outdated and no longer relevant. |
