What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My fondest memory is playing sports with my neighbors until it got dark out. The sense of independence we all felt was something I looked forward to all day. On top of that, we were always competitive with each other. I attribute my love for competition to these early experiences. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my father. I have his sense of humor and his strong work ethic. His sense of humor is on the ironic side. For example, he would always find a traditionally unfortunate event to be funny. This would translate to a very enjoyable time, especiall y when we worked together. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire a mentally strong, caring, and loyal person. Mental stability seems to be a fundemental trait of a good leader. Loyalty and caring nature also remind me of my parents and so I hold them in high regard. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I wore my pants backwards during a church event when I was 8. Half of my family took it too seriously and the other half didn't even care, which ended up leading into a huge family argument about religion. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Arizona for a view of the stars. Or I would travel somewhere that has very clean and clear ocean water. Outdoors is where I can be at peace with myself and Arizona is mostly desert so there is little to no light pollution. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on the importance of a strong work ethic and honesty to my children. I believe these traits are fundamental values that can translate to success in whatever they want to do or are passionate about. |
