What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I was in high school, we went on a road trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. It was my first time camping and one of my fondest memories with my parents, who work hard and don't often take vacations. About a decade later, we went on a road trip to numerous parks in New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, including Arches, Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon. Our family loves nature, and I think a trip to see our National Parks beats a theme park any day of the week. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My father, because of his passion for his work and his compassion for others. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire intelligence, discipline, generosity, and compassion. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was little, I loved to play with keys but made up my own word for “key,” so my parents were totally confused about what I was asking them for until they finally gave me their keys. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I’d travel to Austria to see the birthplace of Mozart. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope to pass on my wisdom, accumulated from reading and life experience. |
