What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My father asked my uncle to babysit me one summer. My uncle got called into work because someone was sick. He worked at a music store in my hometown and had no choice, but to bring me to work with him. I fell in love with my first instrument that day. It was the dawn of my love affair with music, a love that continues to this day. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My uncle is my closest family member for sure. He and I are both born around Christmas, so we both identify with the difficulties of that. But mostly his easy going nature and zeal for life are common traits we share that make us so close. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Determination, loyalty and intelligence. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | On a family trip to Costa Rica we went zip lining. At the Zip lining facility they had an an exotic animal rescue. One of the attractions was that you got to feed monkeys. It turns out the monkeys weren't in the mood to be fed, instead they wanted to throw pebbles at the guests walking by. For some reason I was their favorite target. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would love to go to Italy. I know it sounds cliche to want to go to Europe but there is so much history there, the food is amazing from what I hear and every town has a unique quality. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like my child to be open to what the world has to offer, and willing to live in the present. |
