My team was down a few scores with around 10 minutes in the game left. From that moment I proceeded to have the best game of my young life. All of which ended in a last-second play that ended with a reception that to this day almost 15 years later my friends and I still refer to it as "The Catch". It was just such an amazing night for everyone involved and we still talk about whenever we all get together. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My Grandma. She was just so loving, kind, caring, wise, and genuine. I strive to be like her every day, with the hope I can be for someone else what she was for me. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Honesty. I think that today it is hard and sometimes unpopular, to be honest. So I think that someone who can not only be honest with others, but with themselves is truly admirable. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | "Heads Up". The hours of fun we had screaming and acting out some of those ridiculous words always led to storytellings and reminiscing about amazing times we all shared. It truly was one of the funniest and most memorable times of my life. On a cross European trip withmy college basketball team, we would often spend in excess of 6 hours a day on buses. During those trips, the 10+ 6 foot and up guys on the team would crowd together in the back of these buses and play the charade game. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would go to Tokyo, Japan. I have always wanted to go and immerse myself in their beautiful country and rich culture. Additionally, I would travel to Europe. There is so much history, places and things to experience there. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would just hope to give that same experience to my children. I would want to pass down the lessons I have learned, the experiences I have had, and the love that I have received from others and am ready to share. Those were some of the most precious things that I have gotten from my parents, family, and friends. |
