What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify with all of my immediate family members. However, my mother would be the one I identify with the most. This is because we share similar behaviors and ways of thinking. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Grit and self-control are the traits I admire the most in individuals. I think those traits are key elements for successful individuals who make a change in the society. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I took a verbal final exam in a study-abroad class in Germany. I was confused with the questions and my responses also confused the professor and my friends. Then, follow up questions from my answers were passed on to my friends who struggled even more to answer. Luckily, all of us passed the class, but it was so funny how we got through that exam. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to remote places in Africa or Asia. I think those regions are full of interesting places to uncover and culture to discover. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would pass on my values, my culture and my knowledge. I would expose them early on to safe ways to see the world. I want them to learn to live independently and do a better job at it than I did. |
