What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most cherished memory is hanging out with older my sister and pretending to go to candy land. She would put a blindfold on me, spin me until I was disoriented, describe the scene and then give me candy. As a sweets-oriented child with a vivid imagination, it is a memory that I hold very close. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most identify with my grandmother because she is so smart, kind and wise. She is always there to support me. She has lived through so much and continues to inspire me every day. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire people who are open and honest; those who are graceful in the face of tragedy. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | This is a hard question for me to answer! |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would want to return to South America and visit the Amazon. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | The knowledge that life is a mix of happiness and suffering. I would want my children to embrace all feelings and emotions with compassion and humility. |
