What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I was twelve years old, I spent a month in a resort town in the mountains of India with my extended family. We all stayed together, cooking, playing games, and just spending time together. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my dad. I learned a lot of things from him, like being helpful, forgiving, focused during stressful situations, and never giving up on someone or something. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire empathy. In today's world, when people are self-centered, I believe it is very hard to find people who are truly empathetic. To me empathy is the mother of all traits. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Once I spoke French with a person from France and he couldn't understand what I was saying and ended up responding in English. My freinds and I rolled on the floor and laughed for a long time after this happened to me. This is likely because my French accent is very hard to understand and I probably mispronounced the words. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Norway. It's beautiful and lovely. I would hike, spend time at the fjords, and climb mountains--just be in nature. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would want to pass on my generosity and willingness to help anyone in need. |
