What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I'll always remember when I got my first dog! I arrived home from school and my grandmother and my brother were staring at a box. I thought that was suspicious and approached it carefully. Initially, I thought it was a bird, but then I realized it was a little puppy and got so excited about having her with us! |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I definitely identify with my mother. She is lovely, kind, wise, and tolerant. She has never given up and has taught us to express our feelings. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty, tolerance, altruism, and responsibility. I think all of them combined could lead to success in any area of society. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Well, this is a hard question. One thing that comes to mind is the time I was coming home from a night shift when I was an intern in medical school. I had to ride the bus to get home and there were no empty chairs. I fell asleep standing up and even missed my stop. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to the Maldives. I love nature and peaceful landscapes. They even have a restaurant and hotel rooms which lay underwater, so you can see sea life through the glass. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like them to be kind. I would really like them to understand that there are no significant differences between humans in terms of the respect they deserve. I want them to be as kind with their boss, as they are with their family and friends, and also to people who they don't know, especially if they are serving them in some way. |
