What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience is breaking my leg in a motorbike accident when I was 6 years old. I don't remember the pain, but I do remember how much my family loved me and cared for me at the time, especially my father. He traveled a lot back in the day for work but had canceled everything to take care of me with my mother. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I think I closely identify with my brother. To me, he is one of the most brilliant people I have ever met, and always succeeds in whatever he sets out to do. I look up to him, and most of my career choices are influenced by him. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I always admire hardworking people. I think that nothing is more respectable than someone willing to work for what they want and have a driving force to keep getting better. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | In the summer before my sophomore year, my family went on a trip to the countryside in Vietnam to visit my grandparents. We visited many relatives on the trip, and one family had several geese patrolling around the house. They looked funny, so naturally I tried to pet them. Little did I know, people in the countryside often keep geese as guardian animals, and they disliked strangers. So, the moment I came a bit too close, they honked loudly and started pecking me. I gave the people in the house a good laugh watching me running around the backyard with a bunch of geese on my tail. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to travel to Greece. Ever since I was a kid, I have been fascinated with Greek Mythology. Traveling there to visit all the temples of the old gods would be a dream come true. Also, Greece has a beautiful landscape, many gorgeous beaches, and delicious seafood. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on my knowledge and life experience to my children as well as my wealth. |
