What is your most memorable childhood experience? | The first time my family took me to Disney World is very memorable. I had never traveled before, and all my friends had been to the park except me, so it was a dream come true. I can still remember getting my picture with Goofy and Donald Duck along with riding the teacups. For some reason I was obsessed with that ride! |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my father because we're both hardworking individuals that never quit on anything. Whether it’s sports or personal life, we've always moved forward. We both have always had great street smarts to go along with our book smarts. This has brought me a lot of success in my career. The only thing I have better than my dad is my hair style! |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire loyalty, trustworthiness, work ethic and how people treat others who cannot benefit them in any way (i.e., wait staff). I chose these characteristics because they are in the people who I’ve looked up to in my life and have guided me to become the successful person I am today. These people include, but are not limited to, my high school coach, my older cousin, and my father. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | During a college football game, I was rushing the QB and he threw the football so hard at my helmet it got stuck in my facemask! It counted as an interception, but it was so stuck in there I had to take my facemask off so we could wedge the ball out! My buddies and coach joked that it would be the only way to get an interception because I would've dropped the ball with my hands. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Ireland. I’d love to site see the old relics of the country and I'm a big fan of visiting old pubs. The culture is so interesting to me, and I think I would create some great memories. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want them to know that if you work hard and follow your heart good things will come to you. Don't be afraid to pursue your dream but also have a backup plan. These are important to pass on because I think they’re what makes the nucleus of a strong and successful individual. I think too many kids these days are babied and are never taught the value of the hard work that you need if you want a chance at your dream. |
