What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience was when my grandfather used to take me and my sisters to the beach and we used to play around the pool all day long. I will cherish those childhood memories forever.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my aunt, who is the doctor of the family. She was always very smart and diligent, and I wanted to be as smart as her. She was a positive influence on my childhood and continues to inspire me as an adult.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire people who are dedicated, diligent, creative, intelligent, and have a sense of humor. Usually, I like to hang around those type of people because they inspire me to be a better person and to reach my goals.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I cannot say from the top of my head what the funniest thing that has happened to me is. I have definitely had a lot of fun in my life, and I have sometimes embarrassed myself. I would say that when I was learning English in high school, my teachers used to make me give presentations in front of the class and I would unintentionally say the wildest things.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would like to travel to Japan or Europe. I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture and the way that they always strive for excellence and beauty through consistency.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would tell them, “Be yourself, be consistent, be curious and be happy.” I have always been a person who likes to march to the beat of my own drum, and I would like for my children to experience life in the way that they want to, under their terms, but with the help that I can offer.
