What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience is when I went on a summer long road trip around the country with my parents and younger brother. I got to experience and see different places around the US during that summer and it expanded my knowledge and perspective. Some of the places I got to visit were Yosemite, Yellowstone, Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, NASA, Grand Canyon and the Smithsonian. I was also starting to learn about history in elementary school around that time and seeing some of the history up close, like the Liberty Bell was an amazing experience for me. I was 9 or 10 years old at the time. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My mother is someone I closely identify with in my immediate family. Growing up I noticed how hard working my mother was, she is a pharmacist. But more so she always had a positive attitude and was always a loving and caring person. She has always been someone I could talk to like a friend. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire sincerity, intelligence, and ambition. Sincerity, because I respect honest individuals. Intelligence, because I admire people who can see things on a deeper level. And ambition, because I admire those that have the courage to go after their dreams. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was a kid, my parents took me to an amusement park zoo where they had a big audience for their eagle landing show. The person hosting the show asked for an audience member to help demonstrate their eagle landing trick. I somehow got selected from the crowd and went to the podium. The person had a microphone and asked how much I thought the bird weighed but for some reason I thought he was asking me how much I weighed and so I told him 50 lbs. The audience roared in laughter, I didn't really know why until my parents told me afterwards. Oops! The eagle landing demonstration went well though. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Norway and check out the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. I would enjoy Norway's beautiful scenery, peaceful nature, and landscape. Norway also has some cool history and culture. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Be sincere. Remain focused. And stay determined to achieve what you want out of life. |
