What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Next to my house was an open field where a company was building houses. When they would dig out the basements, there would be huge piles of dirt. My friends and I would snowboard down them in the winter and build forts on them in the summer. We spent most summer days in that field. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most closely identify with my sister. We have the same humor, think the same way, and always understand where the other one is coming from. She is only a few years older than I am, so we get along great. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Honesty is an important trait to have to establish trust. Courage goes right along with it because sometimes you must be courageous to be honest. Commitment is big because if you start a project you need to be committed to finishing. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | During high school, I played a prank on the sophomore quarterback before the homecoming rally. I asked him if he was ready for his speech, stating that was a tradition for the future quarterback. I didn’t expect it to pick up steam, but when we saw a coach a minute later, the sophomore asked him if was true that he had to give a speech tonight. The coach looked at me and immediately knew what was going on and said, "Yes, it’s tradition." Throughout practice the sophomore put a speech together and the rumor spread through the entire team, coaches and parents. when it was his time to talk the senior captains had him on stage and just revealed to him that it was only a joke. He was a great sport and gave his speech anyway! |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | My dream vacation is a train trip through the Swiss Alps. If I had to pick a specific country, it would be Croatia. Croatia has beautiful beaches and is a friendly country on the sea. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I think my best attribute is my overall demeanor and personality. I am a very happy person and get along with mostly everyone. I enjoy learning and I was always described as coachable, meaning that I am good at taking what is taught and applying it to real life situations. |
