Updates - Family Medical HistoryUPDATE SEPT 2025: A child conceived by this donor has had two strokes that likely happened during the birth process followed by several seizures in her first few days of life. Of note, the exact timing and cause of the strokes are unknown. The causeof the seizures is also unknown. The seizures were how the client discovered the strokes (during imaging for the seizures, the client was notified of the history of strokes). Seizures were controlled by meds and then the child was weaned off them.No genetic testing has been conducted to determine a possible link to this donor or underlying genetic etiology. The egg source is homozygous for Factor 2 and 5. The child also has an allergy to tree nuts. The donor has 23 other births reported with no additional medical updates.UPDATE OCT 2025: Despite outreach from Fairfax to the reporting client, no additional information has become available to determine if the medical update discussed above has a possible link to this donor or an underlying genetic etiology. As such, after review by the Genetic Team, this donor has been moved from Investigation to Active.
