What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Every year my mother and I would go to Orlando, FL to take a trip to Disney World. Some of my best childhood memories are spent with my mother there. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | The family member I most closely identify with would be my mother. I identify with her for the simple reason that she had a huge role in my upbringing. As I've gone on in life and gained other points of view it is apparent to me that she has always tried to put her best foot forward with everything she does. I echo her in this way. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | In no particular order, some of the traits I value most in another are loyalty, humor, and work ethic. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I'm not sure exactly what my funniest moment in life was, but one moment that comes to mind is the time that I was trying to get my driver’s license. My aunt, who was taking me to the DMV to do my driving test, knew one of the women working there. They apparently did not get along very well either. After finding out my association with my aunt the woman giving the test had mixed feelings about me. I thought I was doing the driving portion quite well, but the woman insisted I pull over and that I was the worst driver she'd ever encountered. When we got back to the DMV there was a state trooper there and I had to submit to a field sobriety test. I may not have gotten my license that day but there was at least one test I passed. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would return to Tokyo. I visited once on a work trip and loved it. It's just so different there. I didn't have much free time to take in the culture, so I would go there if time and money were not an issue. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | When the day comes that I have children of my own, I would like to pass onto them several things. The first being my work ethic, so that they can see their goals as attainable. Second, would be a huge fortune. Lastly, I want to pass onto my children a knowledge of martial arts that their old man has developed over a lifetime. |
