What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Winning the school geography bee was very memorable. As a fourth grader I was one of the youngest contestants, so it was something of an upset. It also meant I got to go to the state geography bee, which was fun. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I'm close with all my immediate family members, but if I had to pick one, I guess it would be my mom. We have similar personalities and senses of humor. Our worldviews are broadly similar too. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire independence of mind, honesty, and kindness. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I'm drawing a blank right now, so I will say the time I was driving through Chicago, and I almost had to pull over because I was laughing so hard at Gussie Fink-Nottle's speech at the Market Snodsbury Grammar School in Right Ho, Jeeves. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would love to visit Japan. I've always liked the food and culture. Also, it would be nice to use my college Japanese classes. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want to pass on my kind disposition, my sense of humor and my curiosity about the world. |
