| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I was younger, my brothers and I wouldn’t get the opportunity to go on vacations often or do that sort of thing. One of those rare times we went to a mini golf course and go kart track, and we spent all day there shooting mini golf and ending it with a big race with my two brothers. We each had our own go kart and it was the closest to pure happiness when I think of that day. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I think I closely identify with my mom; she has been an independent woman working for what she wants. She does and can handle pretty much anything by herself. I see her as a role model and try to follow her example. She is my rock. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Traits I think are important in any individual are open mindedness, patience, and a good sense of direction. Someone who is open minded is willing to hear your perspective or opinion even if it conflicts with theirs. Patience is something everyone should have; this is a fast-paced world but having patience to be a part of this bigger society is important. It’s always a good thing to know where you are in the world, and I feel it’s important to have an idea of where to go. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One of the funniest moments in my life was when I was about 2 or 3 and I was always following my older brother around the house. One time I followed him when he was playing laser tag and he got scared by me sneaking up behind him. He turned around so quickly that his gun hit my forehead and cut it open. Now it’s funny because of how it all happened, with me being obsessed with my brother and following him to the point of him accidentally hitting me and causing me to get stitches. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I love to travel so if I could go anywhere, I would pick somewhere in Switzerland where it has mountains everywhere and a small creek running through a village. If I could go to a small village surrounded by mountains where I could climb and hike or explore constantly that would be my dream destination. Also I would like to go to Greece, to see all of the old historic buildings and to see the beautiful islands. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | If I ever have kids of my own, I will have to pass on the belief that everyone deserves a chance regardless of their background. Everyone should be given a chance on an equal playing field. If I could pass on that belief, I would be very happy. Also, I would like to pass on the ability to be open and understanding to everyone and the world around them. |
