| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Immigrating to the United States was my most memorable childhood experience. I remember coming to this country, and everything was just so different, the people, the culture, and the food. I was ecstatic. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my mother. She has been my most important mentor in life. Throughout my life she made sure she was there for me as a guardian as well as a sounding wall. She gave me lots of feedback and ideas which shaped the man I am today. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire someone who's dedicated, stoic, and always striving to be excellent in all he/she does. Because I think no one should take it for granted with their lives, and we should all strive to be the best in what we do. Such is the way to live a life without regrets. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I'd say the funniest thing in my perspective would be thinking back, the things I thought that mattered so much during early years of my life not carrying the same amount of weight in hindsight. It’s fascinating how our perspectives are constantly growing. Looking back, I always have a good laugh at some of the “silly” things that used to be a hindrance to me, whether physically or mentally. It’s also rewarding to me to know that I have overcome them. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I’d travel to the natural wonders of the world, such as the Aurora Borealis, Victoria Falls, and the Great Barrier Reef. I’d learn how to sail and sail across the oceans, look at views that few have seen. Since I absolutely love skiing, I’d go skiing at resorts all over the world as well. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I’d like to pass on to them my philosophies of life, what’s really important in life (i.e., health and mental wellbeing vs. lots of the manmade “white noises”), and, most importantly, independence. These rules and principles have served me well in life, I’d figure they’d do the same to my offspring. |
