What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I went to the stock market exchange in Taiwan with my grandparents. It helped me understand what I am passionate about. It also created the motivation to pursue my degree and profession. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My brother is the closest to me. We grew up together in the US and learned from each other. We also share successes and failures together. It has given a foundation for us to have good communication now that we are grown up. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Success and determination are the two traits that I admire. It takes time and persistence to have these traits. In addition, those two traits are the foundations to the path of success. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was in high school, I forgot my wallet at home. It takes about 40 minutes (taking the bus) to the school, but I was afraid of asking for help. Therefore, I walked to the school. It took me 5 hours to get to there. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would love to travel to Japan and live there. It is a developed country and people there are friendly and educated. Even though they are developed, they still find ways to grow the country with new things and ideas. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want to leave financial management skills to them. School can teach you the certain things, but managing finance and growing it will make their lives better and successful. Once they have the skills, they do not worry about the money, and they can pursue their own dream. |
